This month’s Annie’s Hook & Needle Club brought the Elegant Table Runner. This is my fourth kit that was specifically a house project and my first Table Runner with the club. I really like the way the pattern worked the fringe by tieing double knots.
The kit came with two patterns; one with instructions for knitting and the second for crocheting. In the kit was also provided two skeins of yarn, Sinfonia in the color of Blanco. All I need to provide is a G hook and my fringe maker.
The pattern is marked easy, making this a great pattern for a beginner who would like to crochet on the higher end of easy. The basic stitches are chain stitch (The Chain Stitch), single crochet (Single Crochet) and double crochet (Double Crochet) with two specialty stitches of a double crochet decrease (
and Bobbles (Bobbles). Bobbles are always fun to crochet.
I am looking forward to getting started on this kit, finding myself blessed at the moment with lots of yarn and projects to crochet. Will keep you posted. In the mean time would love to hear what March finds you crocheting. Please share.
Until next time, keep those hooks flying.
